“Do Not Judge”

“Judge not.” They are among Jesus’ most familiar—and perhaps most frequently misunderstood—words. In Matthew 7:1–5, Jesus turns our attention away from the faults of others and toward the planks that distort our own vision. This sermon explores how humility, self-examination, forgiveness, and grace can free us from condemnation and form us into a community that sees more clearly and loves more faithfully. Listen in as we consider Jesus’ invitation to put down the measuring stick, receive grace ourselves, and learn to see one another with clearer eyes.
